hmmm. my '87 2.1L's Oxygen sensor light came on yesterday@ 122,127 miles. I replaced the cat and sensor a year ago @ about 108K, but didn't reset any mileage counter thing. Is there such a counter? is the light set to come on @ a predetermined interval (say 50K since it was last reset?) or does the oxygen sensor light signal other bad things that need attention?

also, there's an 83 westy for sale in my New haven Ct. neighborhood for $3500. It looks clean, has california plates, and has only a few dings. if anyone's interested i'll look into it for you.

-curt.
