ANYWAYS, what I did was this : Took some small pieces of masking tape and very carefully masked off the outer edges of the two triangle shapes and where the star is for the fridge light I made a circle piece of masking tape to just fit over the star. Before masking I sanded smooth the plate with #220 sandpaper and cleaned it well with paint prep. After all was masked, I spray painted it with grey TREMCLAD rust paint. It Looks fine and the rust & nicks are gone. BUT......it sure would be nice if those decals were available !
