More years back than I want to remember I used to build plastic military models. In order to get something other than exactly what came from the box I would poke through the HUGE selection of decals available at the local hobby store for the marking of a specific squadron or pilot. Assuming this type of thing is still available I can remember many of these official military designations and personal, anything goes, "Nose Art" decals that would pass for your now missing factory decals including the "on" flame symbols. Dont know that this is worth launching a search and seizure mission but if you happen to pass a hobby shop at the mall or on your way home from work and you have a few minutes to kill it may be worth a peek.

<< Re: WTB: Stove face >> HA ! Funny you should ask ! I just did this last week ! I didn't even try posting a message about where to find those decals as I was sure that's not possible. ANYWAYS, what I did was this : Took some small pieces of masking tape and very carefully masked off the outer edges of the two triangle shapes and where the star is for the fridge light I made a circle piece of masking tape to just fit over the star. Before masking I sanded smooth the plate with #220 sandpaper and cleaned it well with paint prep. After all was masked, I spray painted it with grey TREMCLAD rust paint. It Looks fine and the rust & nicks are gone. BUT......it sure would be nice if those decals were available !

Cheers
