Bill,
I have to disagree.  My Vanagon gets 19 to 20 miles per gallon.  You can't tell me
an Expedition let alone an Excursion gets that kind of mileage.   I think by
comparison the Vanagon is the GREEN choice.  Thats not to say that a  Geo Metro
isn't the GREEN choice in a similar comparison.
