Subject:      Need opinions on 87 Wolfsburg

Just found at the local VW dealer, a 87 Wolfsburg , 157,000 miles
showing, Factory mags,A/C/, P/S, P/W,cruise, stick trans, a pull out
CD/radio,and electric mirrors. The van is super clean inside and out, no
rust or dents any where. I was under it and the engine is dry on the
bottom, I didn't see ant evidence of leaking anything anywhere.
The muffler is starting to rot on the top, and the center caps are
missing on the wheels.
 They are asking $3900.00. I offered them $3500.00 out the door. Am I in
the ballpark?
Need an opinion before I make any tactical errors.
