Yup, double-triple-positive. Your article and pictures are why. It concerns me enough I worry about putting the joint back in. I can't imagine it was binding when I took it out (I didn't check, of course). So I'm worried and not sure what to do. Thinking about taking it to a shop or parts store and letting an expert look at it, but what can they tell be other than what I already know?

Stuck and worried. Any more suggestions from anyone?

Steve

Hi Steve,

Are you sure you have the large and small grooves lined up properly? The joint shouldn't bind at all. I know I did it wrong the first time and the joint would lock solid.

I have pictures at http://volksweb.relitech.com/cvjoints.htm <http://volksweb.relitech.com/cvjoints.htm> that should help.
