I went the opposite route. I had H*nda accrd, and then sold it after a year. It was no fun at all to drive! It was a '91 and I actually spent more on maintaince for it then I have on my '87 Wolfie with 190K on the clock! I thought a japanese 'reliable' car would be cheap. NOPE, and I also got another confirmation on that from another EX-japanese car owner. Don't seel your van you will miss the space and the German quality that will get you there with confedance!
