Not in my mind, but to each his own. Cheaper maybe, but you would need the entire exhaust, mounting brackets, ECU, FI system, alternator, etc. And, there are no heat ducts to get heat from the air cooled engine into the cabin, so you better live in a warm, dry, climate! You would really be reducing the value of your Westy significantly. If you are strapped for $$$ find a good used engine from the list and rebuild yours later, accumulating parts and money over time.
