The problem is that there is not a real good place to put cup holders in the front of a Vanagon, especially if you have roll up windows. they can be put on the seat base, but they a a pain to use, if you are on the roll. I found the solution (for Me) yesterday. I purchased a Wolf console, that has 4 beverage holders, storage for my tapes, sunglasses, change, and other misc. sundries. I know it blocks the passageway to the rear, but I almost never walk to the rear that way anyhow. The Vanagon suffers from not having enough room to store garbage,( up front,) that is required to function while driving, and I thnk I solved the problem. It looks good too! Terry, 85 GL |
