First, I have to say I'm sorry I got some of your hopes up regarding the SA Vanagon. I was surfing the other night and came across that sporty green one and, well, I just sighed. So I thought I'd do a dream sequence. But I have to tell you, some of your comments had me on the floor laughing. Thanks.

Also had some good feedback with real life import/export experience and connections. The concept seems not to far out of reach. So. I had and idea. How about a Group Buy ? (smile). If its possible to pull the engine and then call it "parts", and we ordered say ten or fifteen of them. Hey. (am I dreaming again?)

I just know I am considering putting a lot of money into my current 91 and it would be nice to start with a 2000 model (doesn't that sound good?)

Ah, just a thought.
