Hey Volks,
After pulling Miles' (86 westy) heads off  and finding that that huge
miss was a completely fouled spark plug, (oh well, needed to replace the
gasket and fuel lines  anyway) I found that the #3 injector was
different than all the rest. It was swaged on to the fuel hose and its
body was green plastic (all the others are yellow (?) and the hose is
clamped on). I tested it and it squirted (didn't measure the volume
though). I put it back together, bleed the system (twice) and I've still
got a bit of a miss and now he's also running a bit warm (completely
above the led )

My question is do I need to replace that injector? [Well, DAH!!]
Seems obvious but it ran really well for at least the last 8,000 miles
or so (Miles has 320,000)
That plug was completely fouled with black crumbly gunk (carbon?). Too
rich? Think I may also have a bad lifter. Sooo, that said what do yall
think Oh Vast and Wizened List?
