Subject: Re: electrical problem
Content-Type: text/plain

Hey, big thanks to all who helped with the electrical problem. My son and I worked on it today and solved most of the puzzle. The fog lights that were wired directly to the battery, I tapped the relay and reconnected the wires and they came on. The head light switch had been changed out some time ago and the connections need to be cleaned and reconnected and the relay (gray, above the fuse panel) was making a lot of clicking noise, so I tapped it and reinserted it and got the head lights working. Now all that remains to fix is the temp and fuel gages. I pulled the instrument pod off and checked the ribbon connector, but couldn't find anything wrong, so the gages still don't work. Any more ideas there?

Thanks again to Joel, Marshall, Ken and Tom for your input.
