Search archives for more info, but there a three grommets on the top of the tank

along with several short pieces of fuel line.  Also there is a crossover tube
that connects
the top of the saddle shaped gas tank.  The grommets are all the same size
(about $3 from the dealer),
the crossover tube is about $25 (dealer), and you might as well replace the fuel
 sender gasket ($3 dealer).
The fuel line is non-pressurised at this portion, it is smaller than the 7mm
fuel injection hose (I think
I used 1/4" hose, but this is on a 1980 westy).  Filler neck grommet is about
$13, be careful I think there
are two sizes depending on year.

Tank is fairly easy to drop by supporting w/ floor jack w/ a wood board on top
to distribute weight.  Drain
tank first!  Remove the two tank straps and slightly lower tank until you can
disconnect fuel gauge
wires and pop off tubings.  You do have to remove the filler neck to get tank
all the way out.

Really not that bad of a job.  You can certainly do it in a day (or morning)
