Other things to try: The multi-prong connector that connects the wire harness to the back of the printed circuit sheet for the instrument cluster - check for corrosion on the terminals. I've had bad connections there cause problems on more than one vehicle. Check also the engine compartment oil switch harness connections- all of them. The second pressure switch is in an awfully inaccessible spot to the right/below the water pump - it can't be changed without either major disassembly or cutting the sheet metal below the main coolant reservoir. The last piece of the puzzle is the dynamic oil pressure control unit that lives inside the speedometer housing. The terminals here are usually the culprits, rather than the CU itself. Moral: Clean all terminal connections from back to front, before changing parts. Location info is all there in the Bentley.

Try moving the wire around that comes from the high (back) sender. When my '86 came home from the dealer after a warranty repair of the head/jacket seals, my oil buzzer started going off randomly. It seems they routed the wire (yellow?) too close to the spark plug wires. After I routed them away from the plugs, the trouble stopped. The good thing about it was it forced me to install an oil pressure guage up front. I never had a problem since. Jay
