Yippee! I finally have my Turtle Girl running again after she caught on fire last summer. The injectors to cylinder # is confusing in the Bently manual. I still need to fix a coolant leak where the hose broke off the bleed screw for the radiator hoses and some odd ball throttle linkage situation, but it's running again! I've gone along way from "I wonder what all that stuff under the engine cover does", to now I can identify all the parts and pieces and have some idea what they do. I've spent between $600 and $700 on parts and three trips to the auto recycling yard in Rancho Cordova, CA. New spark plug wires were extremely expensive, $75. One bum injector and a new fuel line kit from Ken Wilfy with a nice list member discount. Hope you see me on the road soon! Cary in San Jose '85 Westy "Turtle Girl" |
