Just a quick note for those who have been following this. I installed the right control arm with 2 new bushings, (took only about 20 minutes), and took a 200 mile trip on the Olympic peninsula on lots of bumpy roads. No more squeaks. If your front suspension creaks and groans, suspect the upper swing arm bushings first. On the positive side, it's actually pretty easy to remove the upper swing arm and have new bushings pressed in.
