Y'all, My 1.9L idle started to run high & erratic 1000-2000 rpm. I checked for vacuum leaks, found none. Did the check for the aux air valve and volia - according to Bently that was it. I tried to clean it with no luck so bought a new one. Just installed it and the same thing is occurring. I did clamp the hose from the aux valve to the throttle body while waiting for the valve and it ran great , even cold. ( 23.5 mpg combined (USG)) . So I re-clamped the hose closed and await your wisdom.( the harness is giving 13.5 v to the aux air valve with engine running) Whats the chance of a bum new valve?
