Outside dimensions are almost identical. I think the Vanagon might have a little more interior volume, but not significantly. Both of them are great haulers of people and things. The Eurovan has the advantage of a completely flat floor for 4'x8' stuff when you remove all seats and the rear hatch area has a very low sill(?) for getting stuff inside. But they are both spacious vehicles. I've also owned 2 Chrysler Mini-vans, and I do mean MINI. I couldn't get over the difference in volume between them and VW's.
