That's IT!!!!
        Work, family, bills, the neighbors-from-hell, the whole lot, the hell with
it all...I'm going camping this weekend.  If anyone is interested I'll be
going to Mississippi Palisades State Park from Friday night to Sunday
morning.  They have plenty of electric sites, almost no one else will be
there, but alas the showers are closed until may.  If anyone else wishes to
go they are more than welcome.  The park is located on the Illinois side of
the river about 1/2 hour south of Galena.  To get there from the western
Chicago suburbs (and to help those looking at a map) take highway 64 west
to the Mississippi, head north 4 miles, and the park is on the right.  The
gates close at midnight, but if I know your coming, arrangements can be made.
        The wife and kids will be out of town attending a wedding, leaving me with
a bad case of wanderlust.  If the weather is good I'll take the canoe and
rock-climbing gear (the park has the best real rock climbing in Northern
Illinois), and if the weather is bad I'll just hang-out in the tent and get
really drunk.  They claim to not allow alcohol, but we all know the value
of a good paper bag.

Maybe we'll see some other brave souls there.
