Hello again VW folks,

Since my last posting yesterday regarding an old acquaintance of mine, Vic
Ahmed, whom many of you may remember as Z & S Inc., (on the parts
vendors/camper dealers listing on the Vanagon List), I have been deluged
with a lot of e-mail, mostly kind and supportive, but also some, sadly, a
little not so. This is a human being that contributed heavily to the VW
scene in more ways than one, for many many years, and has been an invaluable
resource for a lot of us Vanagon and other VW owners all over the country.

I would like to clarify here, once and for all, that I have no financial or
any kind of other consideration in the matter except a totally humanitarian
one. I, along with many of his loyal following, would love to see him back
on his feet again and back in the VW field where he
belongs...............cuz if there's anybody around that knows and loves
VWs, it's Vic! I'm doing this totally on my own, I have no affiliation with
him except for the fact that I've personally seen his very impressive
operation when he had it, and I feel personally saddened to see his present
state now, and was just hoping and looking for a way to help out if I could.

As I mentioned earlier, he does have a few Westies coming up for sale, and I
do personally know his work, these vans will be really good when he gets
done with 'em, and a bunch of parts too, so if any of you kind folks are
