Subject: Amsoil tran. and Motor Up
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

I recently decided to replace the transmission fluid in my 1982 Westfalia diesel 1.6. I decided to try the Amsoil and at the last minute added Motor Up transmission additive as well. The result was that the shifter moved smoothly until you tried to push it into gear which was very difficult and made an awful clunk. I immediately drained the fluid and replaced with standard VW spec. fluid and all was well. Anyone had similar experiences?

David
