I saw a post or two on this, and remember hearing the comment that it was very expensive. I'm keenly interested, but don't have any experience importing either. I wonder if diesels could be brought back and then registered in the US? The stretched van (about an extra foot or so) would be preferable if owners ever wanted to convert to a "Westfalia" type camper.
