The chances of a 200k motor with exactly 130 psi in all 5 holes would be pretty darn slim. This motor has a different - block, crank, pistons, rods, head, manifolds, entire FIsystem,etc- than the Audi 5 cylinders sold in the USA. Guess what this means for new parts availability? Any of these vans that make it to junkyards (and a surprising number are there, due to fires) are picked apart for use by Audi hotrodders looking for added displacement engine parts. Guess what this means for used parts availability?

My shop said the same thing to me about ten minutes ago. A bitter pill for thought.

Incidentally, I asked the owner to provide confirmation of the compression, and I would certainly have it tested myself prior to any money exchanging hands.
