Are there any associations VW related where you can get a discount from a dealer by belonging to a VW related association? I thought once upon a time when I belonged to VW Car Club owners of America (or something like that) that you got a 10% discount on parts. Does this mailing list have any sort of discount at dealers? Looks like I'm buying a new motor and I'm looking for all the price breaks I can get! Any reason why I should NOT buy a rebuilt engine from the local VW dealer as opposed to purchasing a rebuilt elsewhere?
