How I stopped worrying and learned to love VW dealers.

I have just come back from a 3500 Mile round trip to do some filming on a beach in Spain. The exhaust started to blow on the way down so when the job was over I called the local VW dealer and asked them to fit a new exhaust.

Answer ... YES Question . When? Answer ... Two weeks were busy.

Turns out that there is not a single exhaust in Spain so it would have to come from Germany. I ask if they can bodge the old one to get me home. NO. Don't even think about bringing your Van here.

So what did I do ?

I drove into the Ford garage. They gave me coffee, sympathty, welded up the exhaust and didn't charge me a penny.

Justin
