Subject: Propane Tank
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

For some reason the PO had removed the propane tank and carried a 20lb cylinder under the bench seat prior to my purchasing the '83 westy. I will be taking an extended trip in April and would like the convienence of the stock tank. I've looked in the salvage yard, but that seems to be one of the first things to go. I am thinking of buying one from The Bus Depot or other list vendor. My question is what do I need? Do all valves and fittings come with the tank or will I also have to purchase those? When I look under the van now, all I see is 2 copper lines from the fridge and stove. I have the fitting from the 20 lb tank, but there is no splitter so only stove or fridge can be run. Any help is greatly appreciated. Also any leads on a good used tank would be great.

Thanks, Nate Richmond Cary, NC
