Ronal R9's are a direct bolt on with NO modifications. I have 16 inch with 215-65-16 tires with plenty of room for bigger tires. The rims are the ones that Mercedes used to put on all there AMG editions back in the 80's. They look perfect on my silver syncro. I found them in Mercedes racing shop in SanFransisco. Ronal in Arizona gave me their number 2 years ago. I was lucky because they only had one NEW set left. But I'm sure they may have some used ones left. See ya, Michael 87 syncro 87 quattro
