FLAPS will have a battery carrier that is a rubber strap w/holes at each end (ends are metal) - slip the holes over the posts: lifting jams the posts in the holes, grabbing so's you can lift.

Completely remove the seat & rub a candle or paraffin wax on the tracks of both the seat & the base...this also works on the bottom/front bearing on the sliding door (the god-awful screech just B4 it closes) - in the last 4" of it's travel, the outer race (by design!) slides sideways on the bottom rail; the wax provides lubrication, w/o attracting dirt.
