To all folks who have responded, some I've replied to directly,

Thanks for the feedback and review of the guy known as Eric.

A little of my history is as follows:

I built my first car from two '62 Bugs, built a few engines and then moved on to a '60 Ghia. Built a 2100cc for that car. Loved it, raced mustangs with it and anything that got in the way. I had it and a '68 Bus for a while, sold the Ghia, then the Bus and moved to Volvo Turbo for the time being.

Now I'm milling timber and need a truck. My dad had a '57 single cab, then a '67 single cab that he still drives today.

Anyway, I've cradled many pulled engines in my lap while they pushed the bus or truck clear, or lifted the ghia or bug over the shroud.

Gotta have a Single Cab Vanagon Truck while they still can be had so I can keep it on the road.

Thanks for your time and any constructive info in response to my "Wanted" mail.

Thanks, Kim Springer
