I am pretty positive that the mounting points for the Wolfsburg rear seat and your stock '84 rear bench are different. You would have to weld in new mounting points, but it really isn't that big of a deal.

Just FYI, I have a brown velour rear bench seat/bed from a '84 Wolfsburg Westfalia. Full width, newly recovered, and it will actually bolt right in with no welding required (the seat mounting setup is simpler). Asking $100 if anyone is interested.
