Here in Victoria B.C. which, due to the weather and population, has probably the highest concentration of Vanagons in Canada, there are a few notable ones.

... a few I can recall this morning

syncro

one bronze coloured passenger van, 3,2 ? Porsche engine one white westy, ugly big 16"? wheels, aircon up top, Porsche engine, matching trailer Panel van, caramel coloured - seen on hoist in Ellice Automotive and broken down on Pat Bay hwy! Blue passenger van - notable only for the box section rear bumper, big and made from checkerplate.

2wd

blue single cab - often see it driving to and fro from North Saanich. white doubecab - at least 3. one of which belongs to a house builder (Alta Vista) that is working on a job next door. Good condition. The others I have seen were not so sharp, one with a red stripe on the side looks a little tired. caramel doublecab - now my memory fails me, almost certain I have seen a brwon singlecab too. Same caramel colour as the panel van.

I really ought to keep a camrea in the van to record these sightings.

Alistair
