Dear List,


Well I am now the proud owner of a pair of the OEM type holders (12.95 from
GoWesty) and a pair from West Marine (8.95). I think I like the cheaper
ones better, because they are thinner when folded, look easier to install,
and  have a break in the top band that allows them to hold a mug with a
handle as well as a can or canister style coffee container. The cheaper
ones are not quite as beefy as the more expensive version ... but look up

to the assigned task. I suppose I could just cut out  a piece of the German
ones. Has anyone every done that? Also, any tips on installing them? It
looks as though I need a bit extender to drill and an extra-long screw
driver ...
