Hmmmmm. My 88 Vanagon has been parked for the winter for the last 4.5 months. Recently I've been taking a few runs around the block in and effort to get the kinks out before dhe hits the road again.

There is a slight problem. After a run, or during, as the engine temperature guage moves to the usual position just over the red LED... the light starts to flash.

I've checked levels and the engine temperature does not seem to increase and the coolant levels seems to be just fine too!

Any suggestions as to what I should look for?

Barry.
