hey all, i have this very annoying rattle with the luggage rack part of my poptop on my westy. when speeds get up to 60+ and add some wind to that, the very front of the rack begins to rattle very obnoxiously. the seals are new, but between the two front mounting screws there is a lot of give where the fiberglass meets the car. i can pull it up and look underneath it. anyway, wind goes up through there and causes it to vibrate. I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!! anyone ever experience this? what can be done? the screws are tightened down and like i said the seals are new but there is just too much room and flex in the front of the rack to allow wind to squeeze in and ruin my beautiful highway drive. incidently, turning up jerry doesn't cover up the hideous rattle. oh woe is me jason 82 westy 90 gl ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com |
