Coolant filter - correction. You need 5/8 id coolant hose (not 3/8) to tap into the coolant circuit under the rear bench. But I do use 3/8 ball valves, because they're compact, and it's ok to have some reduction in coolant line at that place. Just in case, somebody might use this info.
