Subject: Are Vanagon brake MC's rebuildable?
Comments: To: bchristensen@INFOGENESIS.COM

Hey Brent, Sorry to read it was your master cylinder [as I suspected]. Don't screw around with rebuilding one with 200,000 miles on it, unless you cannot find a new one for a reasonable price. There can be wear patterns and/or corrosion pits that will defeat your best efforts. If you have to go the rebuild route, send the cylinder body to one of the shops advertising in HEMMINGS, and have a stainless liner installed.

Two cents worth from my experience.......

Glenn
