Volks, Syncronauts!

I bought a set of Borbet C 7x15 ET35 wheels for my Syncro today. See them at http://www.borbet.com/borbet_neu/php/rad.php3?design=c My main problem is not the fit, they fit perfectly. Almost. The studs on my Syncro are way too short, not only rear but front too. I need longer studs all the way round. Where can I get new studs? I looked in the archives, but that didn't help!

Also the rear axles are sticking out of the hub on the wheel. Not nice, and I would rather keep the smooth hub covers with the Borbet logo. I thought of using 5 mm spacers. Any tips, suggestions?

I will be using Copper Discoverer AST tires 215/75R15, got a good deal on a set that's hardly used. The tire shop shaved 1/3 off the price, I'll get them for $300. See those at http://www.coopertires.com/tire_locator/tiredata.asp?tireID=24 Any comments??

PerL 87 14" soon with new nice 15" shoes.
