Volks, Syncronauts!


I bought a set of Borbet C 7x15 ET35 wheels for my Syncro today. See

My main problem is not the fit, they fit perfectly. Almost. The studs on
my Syncro are way too short, not only rear but front too. I need longer
studs all the way round. Where can I get new studs? I looked in the
archives, but that didn't help!


Also the rear axles are sticking out of the hub on the wheel. Not nice,
and I would rather keep the smooth hub covers with the Borbet logo. I
thought of using 5 mm spacers. Any tips, suggestions?


I will be using Copper Discoverer AST tires 215/75R15, got a good deal
on a set that's hardly used. The tire shop shaved 1/3 off the price,
I'll get them for $300. See those at
