Thanks for the advice on the shocks. New KYB all around has vastly stabilized my ride and evened out the slight lean on my westy. It's actually not such an unwieldy beast after all. I guess the PO hadn't ever replaced them (150K miles) - the mechanic laughed when I asked him what the old ones were like.
