Yeah! I had 153 on the meter in my Syncro the other day, luckily the
cops didn't see me :-)) Prolly wasn't more than 140-145 in real speed. I
have seen a photo of a speedo once, a Carat 5-speed 112i had 170 km/h @
5000 rpm. The owner used this photo to sell the van.


According to my owners manual, the 95 hp Westy has a top speed of 141 w/
5-speed, 136 w/ auto.
