Hi all. Thought you sci-fi fans might appreciate this. I was at the restoration facility for the Smithsonian yesterday to tour a bunch of aircraft and toys that they've got in Suitland, MD (DC burbs).

It turns out that Dreamworx studios donated the original and only model of the mothership from "Close Encounters of a 3rd Kind". It's about 4 feet in Dia. The tour guide pointed out that the builders had a sense of humor. There is an R2-D2 glued on to it as well a small `70s VW bus! I don't think you'd be able to see it during the movie but it's there!
