        Writing from the San Francisco Bay Area in California where we
        have the distinction of being gouged the most by the oil companies
        (highest gas prices in the contiguous 48 states!) ... AT LEAST we
        have FREE air and FREE water mandated by a new state law that became
        effective at the beginning of the year.
