The seal behind the drive flange (the drive flange is the thingy that the CV bolts up to) is leaking and needs to be replaced. A pair of retaining ring pliers makes this job much easier.

Basic procedure:

Remove CV bolts, move joint out of way. Drive a punch through the center seal cap (disposable), and lever/pry it out. You can now see the retaining ring. Use retaining ring pliers to remove ring. Slide CV joint flange off shaft. Pry out old seal, replace with new. Slide CV joint flange back on shaft, then wave washer, then reinstall retaining ring. Drive in/Install new sealing cap with a socket. Re-install CV joint bolts.

That's it!
