Reason being MP3 files use lossy compression algorithm and CD (.cda) files
are uncompressed. When converting, the [conversion]program attempts to
un-compress the mp3 leaving a LARGE file.

Please note - During the past 17 years of operation, several gigabytes of Vanagon mail messages have been archived. Searching the entire collection will take up to five minutes to complete. Please be patient!
