Subject: Parting out '92 Passat 2.0l 16 valve 100k miles.
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"
I have posted this before but my parting out of this vehicle has been
accelerated by my brother breaking the timing belt in his '93 Passat and
requiring me to pull the motor in this car (just going to swap it in instead
of doing the rebuild head thing).
The car only has 100k miles on it. It is mint green with an automatic
transmission (the kind that has sport shift and is computer controlled).
The interior is in nice shape and is grey. Please pmail me if you are
interested in any parts. The passenger side is pretty much wiped out by a
telephone poll as is the front, but the driver's side is in nice shape as is
the back of the car.
I also have the engine from my brother's 93 for sale too (16valve 2.0l) that
needs head work and a new timing belt (possible other damage from timing belt
breaking).
I would take the best offer for this engine as I hate to have it sitting
around here and rusting away.
Engine only had around 130k miles on it at time of belt breakage (Monday).
Let me know.
Thanks,
Ken Wilford
