Sure, it's easy to switch rear springs, the first logical
solution to the left side sagging syndrome.
I did that 5 years ago on my '90 westy.
Discovered that both rear springs were fatigued almost the same.
After I switched the springs, the van was still leaning
more than I cared for.
If you want to straighten the westy out, just install a shim or
1/2" washer to raise the left rear body slightly.

Some people like it when their camper leans to the left.
Others prefer when it is more centered.
Some like it leaning to the right. All a matter of preference.

Has anyone actually switched their springs left for right, and did the van
level out ?

I know this thread has been through a couple of times, but I probably
wasn't
