I ended up putting an 82a deep cycle under the rear seat. (with a 70a relay replacing the stock vw one) It's in a sealed box, vented to the outside. Has a built in voltage gauge, fuse box and 12v outlet. Best of all, if I need 110v away from the van, it just pulls straight out and my inverter plugs directly into the 12v outlet. Dave.
