Yep but as VW later upped the recc for the MV engine to 92 by US style, it would be a sure bet (and is by any reality as even the MV pings on 87) that it would take better than the 92-94ish super stuff available in the US to run a 10.5:1 CR. In point of reality in fact, I very briefly owned a '69 vette with I think a 10:1 427? It pinged like a SOB on anything less than true premium 94 octane. John jander14@wvu.edu |
