Are you LOONY? Not to be rude, but have you ever had bilsteins on a car? You say KYB's are too harsh, but then recommend Bilsteins??? The KYB's are cadillac shocks compared to bilsteins. My 'rocco has bilstein HD's, and I have to watch out for potholes for fear of having my teeth jarred out of my head. They are great shocks if you are planning on taking corners in your van at 95mph, but I personally wouldn't recommend them on a van. Maybe if all your vanagon sees are highways (GOOD highways), but if you ever go on dirt roads... Also, there is the little matter of $115ish a shock vs KYB's $26. I know you said "if money is not an object", but.......
