hey all, after long and painful thinking i have decided to sell both of my vans and with the money buy a classic 60's or 70's camper or westy. i am willing to fly anywhere for it and drive it back to new york. it must be in terrific shape with 100% NO RUST!! that is the only thing that i can not overlook. pmail with any good leads anyways, i am selling my newly acquired air cooled 82 westy. 4 speed manul tranny. 50k on rebuilt 2L. 170k on body. new alt, clutch master cylinder, 02 sensor, all vacuum hoses, brake adjustment, new distributor and wires, new bosch w7dtc three pronged spark plugs, new vw fuel filter. new kenwood stereo with new front boston acoustic speakers and new rear kenwood speakers. poptop in great shape. all camping stuff works great with new h20 pump. needs a propane pressure regulator ($30 and easy to install). all screens and curtains in great shape. interior in really good shape. color is two toned blue (light on dark) with little dings and very minor rust. it is a california van and just got moved to new york from oregon in sept. use 20/50 castrol gtx oil and mahle filters every 2000 miles. needs new windsheild washer tubing. asking $5500. i am also selling my 90 gl weekender. burgundy with absolutley no rust. fold down bed in back. homemade curtains and screens. 4 speed manual. 2.1L engine has been partially rebuilt with recent heads, cylinder sleeves and pistons all done 20k ago by original owner. 178k on body. i have replaced within the last 10k the whole exhuast system, alt, starter, brakes, pads and rotors, and shoes, distributor, all coolant lines, fuel filter, about to replace head gaskets (will do before sale). fresh fan motor does not work, however, i never replaced b/c just driving pushes plenty of air through. asking $7000 pmail me with any interest. also pmail with any leads on good classic campers. i have a couple but will look at all options thanks all jason ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com |
