First things first. Can you find me a job in Bellingham? I'd work for
Costco to live there. Best damned blueberries I've ever eaten.
Second. I think that the scope of this group goes beyond technical q&a. We
are a community, and we discuss not only how to fix a water pump, but the
funny stories that go along with our blessed (cursed) vehicles. On Fridays,
we even talk about politics and passing gas (or was that redundant?).
Sometimes we talk about things that are more related to the business of
being a member of the community, and I think the stickers falls into that
category. I personally thought the discussion was rather fun, but I
understand where others would not. It was a subject which required a fair
amount of discussion, especially since no decisions were made before the
contest began. Things like wording, substrate, etc., all added to the
volume.
I don't think the debate was at all a debacle, but if it is not revived, it
certainly will become one.
